Re: LightUp Essentials video tutorials
Hi Adam, we had contact two weeks ago - getting better with light up but I'm still struggeling with various things. My main problem is that I can't follow your tutorials. The work spaces that pop up when I use my LightUp are very different then the ones you use in your tutorial - I can hardly use them
How come? I bought the newest light up, I have sketchup pro 8 and windows 8. Any idea? do I have to buy or get plugins for lightUp? ... please help.
Thanks a lot, Anja.
Here' a screen shot with my tools and windows:

Re: LightUp Essentials video tutorials
Hi Anja,
LightUp Preferences (the leftmost dialog in your screenshot), has 2 modes: Beginner or Advanced.
The Beginner Preferences hides many controls to keep things simple when you start out. If you click on the button at bottom of this dialog you show labelled "Use Advanced GUI" you will switch to the LightUp Preferences mode that exposes many more controls and is the one used in the LightUp Tutorials.
Be sure to check out the latest Getting Started doc in LightUp v3.3 which has been completely reworked.

Hi Adam, thanks again for your help.
I'm working with the 'getting started lightup 1.1 version which you have ready for downloading at your homepage.
Where can I find/download vs. 3.3?
Thanks,
Anja.

Open LightUp Preferences and at the bottom of the dialog is a button "Documentation" that will open on the latest PDF.lucas_nico wrote:Hi Adam, thanks again for your help.
